The grassland of the Tibet Plateau is rich in organic matter, and this special ecological unit plays an important role in global change.Studying the Geochemical characteristics of soil organic carbon in the grassland of the Tibet Plateau has important scientific and practical significance for studying the carbon cycle of terrestrial ecosystems and evaluating global climate change. This study is based on the influence of climate, soil and other factors on the content of organic carbon in different spatial scales in the Tibet area compared with the horizontal direction and the vertical direction. The soil organic carbon data is used to compare the difference of soil organic carbon content between horizontal and vertical directions.Discuss the causes of the differences in soil organic carbon distribution in spatial orientation.Through principal component analysis and multiple linear regression analysis, analyze the influence of impact factors on soil organic carbon at horizontal and vertical scales, and discuss the influence of environmental factors on soil organic carbon and its possible the reason. The main findings of the paper are as follows:(1)The soil organic carbon content in the horizontal direction of the study area is decreasing from east to west, and the organic carbon content is the highest in Linzhi area.In the vertical direction, the soil organic carbon content increased first and then decreased with the increase of altitude. The organic carbon content is highest at the mountainside, and the organic carbon content is low at the top of the mountain and at the foot of the mountain.(2)Pearson correlation analysis showed that soil organic carbon content was positively correlated with soil total carbon total nitrogen content, soil available phosphorus content, microbial biomass carbon and nitrogen content, soil water content and grain content;organic carbon content and soil pH value. There was a significant negative correlation between the bulk density and the sand content;there was no significant correlation between the organic carbon content and the carbon to nitrogen ratio.(3)Multiple linear regression analysis showed that environmental factors had different effects on soil organic carbon content at horizontal and vertical angles. The main factors affecting the soil organic carbon content in the horizontal direction are soil water content, soil total carbon content, soil available phosphorus content, soil total nitrogen content and soil bulk density. The main factors affecting the organic carbon content in the vertical direction of the Mira Mountains are soil total carbon total nitrogen content, soil water content, soil bulk density and soil available phosphorus content.(4)The main factors affecting soil organic carbon content in the study area are soil total carbon total nitrogen content, soil available phosphorus content, soil water content and soil bulk density. This study studied soil organic carbon content and its main influencing factors in the Tibet Plateau from different spatial perspectives, providing basic data and scientific support for regional and global scale carbon cycle research and soil carbon pool management.
