Since transformation optics(TO)was proposed in 2006,people have been able to control the light path freely.TO is to derive material parameters under coordinate transformations, and its implementation benefits from the gradual maturity of metamaterials. In the past ten years, many experts have theoretically designed a large number of powerful optical devices such as invisibility cloaks, rotating devices and optical illusion devices. In practical experiments, simplified material parameters were introduced to ease the manufacturing, such as cloaking device and rotator implemented in microwaves, but after the material parameters were simplified, the perfect performance of invisibility and rotation was also affected. In addition,to design energy concentrators based on TO is an important project. In this thesis,we will focus on two designs. One is the perfect invisibility concentrator based on Fabry Perot resonances. The other is the rotating black hole simulator based on TO.We discuss this from both application and fundamental aspect. The main research contents are as follows:(1)We present a concentrator with simplified material parameters based on Maxwell's equations, which has no scattering at the frequencies of Fabry-Perot resonances. We know that the characteristics of Fabry-Perot resonances are that when frequencies of the incident light satisfy the resonance conditions, the spectrum will have a high transmittance. No scattering occurs at the frequencies of the Fabry-Perot resonances.Analytical calculations and numerical simulations confirm the functionality of this concentrator. Therefore, such a concentrator cannot be detected by observers outside, which is a perfect invisibility device.Furthermore,we find that a series of concentrators with other simplified material parameters are almost perfect with very tiny scattering. We will introduce two of them in details, and also show a general discussion of the relationship between the field magnification and material parameters;(2)We can treat a black hole as an energy concentrator.Compared to the Schwarzschild black hole, the state of the light as it enters some black holes is rotated. In this thesis,we will combine the refractive index distribution obtained by the conformal transformation with the existing rotator to form a new type of rotating device, and incorporate an absorber in it to simulate the optical behavior near the rotating black hole. The light will be rotated and absorbed into the black hole and cannot escape. Therefore we can achieve a simulation of the optical characteristics of a rotating black hole.
