There were many offshore oil platforms in Liaodong Bay,the scale of development was expanding, and the pollution from land sources was increasing. The oil pollution problem was becoming more and more prominent in this area. The accumulation and magnification of oil pollutants in marine organisms have significantly increased the ecological risk of oil pollution in shallow water. The risk of estuarine and coastal ecological damage caused by oil spill in local sea area has attracted the attention of marine scholars at home and abroad.Although there were some reports on oil spill and ecological risk in Liaodong Bay,the oil content, distribution characteristics and ecological risk assessment were few. Therefore,it was of great significance to study the composition and distribution characteristics of oil pollutants.to analyze their sources and carry out the ecological risk assessment of oil pollution for the marine management departments to deal with oil spill accidents and early warning of ecological environment.Based on the theory system of risk assessment and the marine natural ecological attributes of Liaodong Bay,a new ecological risk assessment system for oil pollution was constructed by using the toxicity equivalent factor(TEF)assessment method with the investigation data, and the ecological risk assessment of' oil pollutants in the Liaodong Bay was carried out.The main conclusions are as follows;(1)From the point of view of oil pollutant disaster, based on the marine investigation data in shallow sea area, the distribution characteristics of oil pollutant content in Liaodong Bay were analyzed systematically, and the ecological risk evaluation index factors were screened through toxicity test data, and the predicted invalid response concentration was determined. The content of oil and benzene series was relatively low,and PAHs were mainly low cyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and the content of ?PAHs was generally at medium level compared with other regions.(2)The source of oil, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)and benzene series in Liaodong Bay were determined by investigating and analyzing the data.Based on the existing oil risk assessment theory, the ecological risk assessment index system of oil pollutants in shallow water was established, and the related risk classification standards and assessment methods were studied and established.(3)Using quotient method and toxicity equivalent factor method, the single pollutant and combined ecological risk assessment of Liaodong Bay estuary and coastal waters were carried out to determine the ecological risk grade and potential impact, and the RQ value of ecological risk in Liaodong Bay shallow water was given. The average value of RQ in Liaodong Bay was 0.25,and the joint ecological risk of the four aromatic hydrocarbons was low, which had potential adverse effects on the ecosystem. In conclusion, based on the distribution characteristics of oil lutants in Liaodong Bay and the conclusion of ecological risk assessment, this paper can provide technical support for scientific early warning and administrative decision-making management of oil pollution disasters in Liaodong Bay,and also provide technical basis for the transformation from oil spill pollution control to preventive risk management.
