The ocean is a very important part of the Earth.So the researchers tried to use a variety of marine simulation methods,through a variety of models to simulate the real state of the ocean,in order to help people better understand the ocean.The aim of this paper is to analyze and summarize the research achievements and progress of ocean models at home and abroad,and to explore the simulation effect of ocean model ROMS in marine ocean current simulation.The core of the algorithm is the combination of the optimal numerical algorithm for the time step method and the modal separation for the high resolution,free surface,and terrain following coordinate ocean model.Based on these algorithms,we design a split explicit fluid dynamics kernel for the real ocean model,and solve the problem of multiple numerical values associated with modal separation,which is based on the well known synchronization algorithm.ROMS model,including compile,run,simulation data generation.When compiling ROMS,modify the file field before compiling.Taking the Jersey Lake as an example,this paper introduces the generation process of the ROMS pattern data.First,the input file NetCDF of ROMS is generated by MATLAB then the ROMS is compiled and run,and the corresponding simulation result data file is output.the corresponding data image is drawn.The simulation results are displayed intuitively.The simulation data of the model are analyzed in detail.The temperature and salinity data were analyzed,and the change of temperature and salinity at different time and different layers was found.The water layer with great temperature change was found,and the relation between salinity and temperature was found.The data of the flow field is found that the flow direction of the upper and lower layers of a certain area has changed,the flow direction will change slightly with the change of time.And find the representative three points,according to the flow field information,draw the three points of the Lagrangian trajectory.The influence of simulation data on the control method of AUV is analyzed.The simulation data provides the necessary data support for the control method validation and strategy selection of the carrier.
