The study area is located in the southeast lateral of the Zhuxi W-Cu deposit,eastern part of the Cu-Pb-Zn-Au-Ag-W-Co metallogenic belt in Pingxiang-Leping Yanshanian period,sandwiched between Jiurui Cu-Au and Dexing Cu-Au-Pb-Zn-Ag polymetallic mineralized concentration area.Taqian-Fuchun nappe structure zone crosses the study area in the direction of NE.A number of large and medium-sized Cu polymetallic deposits(spots),such as Zhuxi,Yuexing and Henglu,have been discovered in the prospective area of Taqian-Qinghua Cu-Au polymetallic deposits,where the metallogenic geological conditions are superior.Previous geological exploration and scientific research mainly focused on the late Paleozoic strata in the hangingwall of the nappe structure,while the Neoproterozoic metamorphic rocks in the footwall of the nappe structure around Zhuxi deposit are still lack of research.The geophysical and geochemical exploration data show that there are obvious geophysical and geochemical anomalies in the Wannian Group of Neo-proterozoic.According to the geological survey,we found Au-Ag mineralized bodies and Cu-W mineralized bodies in abnormal areas,Au-Ag mineralization occurred in quartz veins and phyllites in the fracture zone,and Cu-W mineralization hosted in quartz porphyry and quartz veinlets.The geophysical anomaly data show that the distribution of gravity anomaly,magnetic anomaly and electromagnetism anomaly are relatively consistent,which should be homologous anomaly.Through the interpretation of geophysical anomaly,it is believed that there exists large scale concealed magmatic rock deep in this area,and the geophysical anomaly is related to the mineralization and alteration caused by deep magmatic activity.The geochemical anomaly indicates that Cu anomaly is mainly distributed along the nappe structure and should be derived from deep magma.Au anomaly is widely distributed in this region,while the abundance of Au is relatively high in the shallow metamorphic rocks of the Wannian Group,Therefore,it is believed that Au anomaly is attributed to metamorphic rocks.The fluid inclusion analysis of the Au-bearing mineralization quartz veins show that the fluid has the characteristics of low salinity and rich in CO2,which is ore-forming fluid of typical orogenic Au deposits.In addition,the abundance of Au is high in the shallow metamorphic rocks of Neo-proterozoic,which is a good source bed of gold mine.The buried deep magmatic activity provides a good material source for the formation of the Cu-W deposit,and the multi-stage tectonic movement provides a good structural condition for the migration,activation and enrichment of ore-forming elements.On the base of above research,this area has a good prospect for mineral exploration,where can search for quartz vein-stockwork Cu-W deposit and orogenic Au deposit.
