With the rapid development of geographic information system technology,GIS has been used widely in many fields such as industry,agriculture,information industry and national defense.At the same time,due to the popularity and development of the Internet,people have a deeper understanding and research on GIS.The application of GIS to the Internet is so-called WebGIS.WebGIS is a kind of GIS under the technical background of the Internet.It displays the powerful functions of GIS through the Internet.People can display and manipulate geographic information data on the webpage.Therefore,WebGIS plays an important role in the development of geographic information technology and the Internet.In the era of big data,major cities and universities are actively developing digital and informatization,and the three-dimensional smart campus is an indispensable part.At present,most of the development platforms used in the establishment of 3D smart campus WebGIS are complex and the system architectures are relatively traditional.This paper compares the advantages and disadvantages of the different development modes and the popular softwares,and proposes to develop the tile three-dimensional electronic map system by using JavaScript technology.This paper takes the new campus of Anhui University of Science and Technology as the research object.And this paper designs a WebGIS development mode based on JavaScript technology through using WebGIS information publishing technology,tile map technology and other related technologies.The system adopts a B/S architecture.The server gets local data to process and returns the results to the browser side.The tile map used in the system are stored in local as multi-layer raster images,and can be spliced into a complete map of different scales on browsers according to user's needs.This paper uses JavaScript and other technologies to develop a lightweight tile 3D electronic map system,the functions of the system include the tile map display function,measurement function,hot zone function,the map query and positioning function,course query function and navigation function.Through these functions in the system,users can browse maps,measure the distance and area between campus features,quickly obtain and search campus building information.Through the course query function,users can not only quickly query course information,but also quickly locate the location of the course.And the navigation function in the system provides path information for freshmen.Campus map service system shows strong functionality and service.Figure[3 7]table[6]reference[68].
