Soil salinization is a serious disaster for the ecological environment. The serious consequences of this disaster, such as the reduction of crop yield and the decline of soil fertility, have brought serious losses to the production and life of people, and posed a serious threat to the sustainable development of agriculture. The Yellow River Delta is an important area of saline-alkali land distribution in China.Soil salinization is common in this area, which seriously restricts the development of local efficient agriculture. The Yellow River Delta is an estuary delta that has not yet been fully developed and utilized in China. Its strategic and economic position is very important. Therefore, obtaining saline soil information quickly and accurately is not only a necessary prerequisite for the treatment and utilization of saline soil, but also can provide strong technical support and data support for the sustainable development of agriculture and the construction of national efficient ecological economic zone.Based on the theories of remote sensing(RS)and Geographic Information System(GIS),this study used ArcGIS Engine, component software of ESRI Company, and used C#as the development language in Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 development environment.Through the detailed analysis of system requirements, the structure and function of the system were planned, and the Geographic database was constructed by using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and File Geodatabase, and then the remote sensing inversion and monitoring system of soil salinization was developed. The system can complete the functions of soil salinization database, remote sensing inversion of soil salinity and spatial and temporal distribution analysis of soil salinity,so as to realize the process and intelligence of remote sensing inversion and spatial analysis of soil salinity. The specific results of the study are as follows:(1)The database of soil salinization has been constructed. It mainly includes spatial database, attribute database and model database. The spatial database is mainly composed of the administrative zoning map, remote sensing image map, salinity distribution map, land use status map of reclamation area, and status map of saline soil treatment measures. The attribute database is mainly composed of the administrative division table of reclamation area, the population scale table of reclamation area, the distribution information table of sampling points, and the table of measures for saline-alkali land treatment. The model database mainly stores soil quantitative remote sensing inversion models, such as multiple linear regression models etc.(2)A remote sensing inversion and monitoring system for soil salinization has been developed and constructed. The system mainly includes three modules:map function module, soil salinization remote sensing inversion module, soil salinization monitoring and analysis module, with the basic operation of GIS system, salt inversion, salt monitoring, salt spatial distribution analysis, time and space distribution analysis, control measures, and other functions. It can provide scientific basis and reasonable suggestions for the management and utilization of saline-alkali land.(3)The key technologies of remote sensing inversion and monitoring system for soil salinization have been discussed. The system uses the mosaic dataset of ArcGIS platform to realize the storage and update management of remote sensing image data.Remote sensing and spatial statistics are combined to analyze the spatial and temporal variation characteristics of soil salinization.
