In the information age of interconnection of all things,intelligent unmanned system is expected to become a necessary part of people's travel.High-performance sensors are the essential core of intelligent unmanned system.Lidar,as a hot high-end sensor,is subject to the traditional mechanical rotation and discrete components.It has such defects as rotational inertia and excessive volume.Using silicon-based integrated optoelectronics technology,it is very valuable to realize the rapid and miniaturization of beam scanning system.Silicon-based optical phased array(OPA)is an array technology of radiation elements with specific phase distribution.By adjusting the phase difference of adjacent elements,the beam deflection in space is realized.Based on the theory of phased array,according to the existing laboratory conditions,this paper studies it.The closed-loop test system is constructed.The fast search algorithm is simulated and its performance is verified.The brute force search algorithm and fast search algorithm are tested on the device to verify their respective advantages.The simulation and actual test of ultra-compact optical phased array,Position-Weighted optical phased array,special distributed optical phased array,optical phased array with 4x4 element size and multi-line scanning OPA system are carried out to verify the correctness of the design and the reliability of the device function.The main contents are as follows:1 The principle and related theory of silicon optical phased array are introduced.The structure of general silicon-optic phased array is introduced.The important parameters of the key devices(thermo-optic switch,radiation grating)are measured.2 The closed-loop test system is constructed.Test and verification of pulse laser source.The principles of brute force search algorithm and fast search algorithm are expounded.The software simulation of the fast search algorithm verifies its reliability.The advantages and application scenarios of the two algorithms are illustrated in the actual measurement.3 The simulation and measurement of ultra-compact,Position-Weighted and specific distributed optical phased arrays confirm the role of ultra-compact optical phased arrays in enlarging scanning range,and the function of Position-Weighted and specific distribution to suppress grating lobes,which proves the reliability of the function.The optical phased array with 4×4 element size is measured,and the function of beam deflection in two-dimensional direction of the phased array is verified.The multi-line scanning phased array system is simulated and the measured results are given.The elevation control is realized by using the thermo-optic switch to turn on the channel,and the azimuth control is realized by phased array to realize the two-dimensional deflection of the beam.
