The benthic lander is an important experimental platform for deep-sea in-situ scientific research,and the working conditions of the benthic lander in the deep sea submerged falling process and the rising process are difficult to know,and equipment loss often occurs.In order to reduce the risk of underwater operations of benthic landers and reduce the economic losses caused by equipment damage and loss,it is extremely important to study the working mechanism of benthic landers.In this paper,the mathematical model and dynamic simulation software are used to simulate the kinematics and dynamics of the benthic lander system during underwater movement,including the following contents:Firstly,based on the mechanical structure of the benthic lander system,the three-dimensional model of the benthic lander system was established by Solidworks software;the structure,function and working conditions of the components of the benthic lander system were analyzed in detail.Secondly,the motion reference coordinate system of the benthic lander system is established,and the underwater six-degree-of-freedom kinematics equation of the benthic lander system is established.The underwater kinematics of the benthic lander is analyzed.Based on the underwater force of the benthic lander,the dynamics problem is analyzed.Thirdly,the factors affecting the speed of the benthic lander system during the submerged motion are studied.The water resistance coefficient of the benthic lander body and the floating ball during snorkeling was obtained by ANSYS Fluent software.Based on this,the relationship between the stability speed of the benthic lander heaving process and the additional buoyancy,the dip angle of the benthic lander body,and the water resistance of the benthic lander system at the corresponding speed are obtained.Finally,in order to study the impact of the bottom impact on the components of the benthic lander at the normal dive speed of the benthic lander,it will cause damage to the mechanical structure of the benthic lander.In this paper,the nonlinear dynamic analysis module Explicit Dynamics is used to analyze the dynamic response of the collision between the device and sediment and seamount.This paper provides a technical basis for further optimization of the design of benthic landers.
