There are a lot of transposable element sequences in the diploid rice genome. In this study, three groups of rice genome sequences of Nipponbare and 93-11 were aligned by bioinformatics method, and 334 candidate sequences with MITE(miniature inverted-repeat transposable element)sequence structure were screened out by RESite method among the three groups of data. The potential transposon activity of single-copy sequences UC23,UC30 and UC35 were demonstrated by transposon display technique.By relaxing the screening bioinformatics method,we recalculated the differential MITE sequence groups existing in the gene regions of three groups of rice genome sequences and obtained a large volume of candidate MITE sequence sets. The polymorphism of sequence composition structure of the same transposable element at homologous loci was compared in indica, japonica and wild rice, and the recombination events after transposition were obtained.Spatio-temporal feature information proves that the recombination caused by transposition events can occur in different time and space.
