The beam emitted by the laser is usually a circular Gaussian beam,The optimized beam shaping system can not only change the distribution of its light intensity to a uniform flat top distribution according to the characteristics of the input beam, but also can shape the spot shape into a line type.In this paper, the simulation design based on the aspheric lens group and a refraction beam shaping system and the experimental verification of the latter are studied in detail. The details are as follows:1.A Gaussian beam shaping system consisting of two orthogonally placed plano-convex aspherical cylindrical lenses was designed with the help of the programming language of ZEMAX.The simulation results show that the energy uniformity of the line laser is 95.8% and the size is about 27 mm ×0.4mm.At the same time, when the beam spot size variation of the incident spot is ±0.25 mm,the influence of the energy uniformity of the output line laser was analysed.2.A set of refraction beam shaping systems and an imaging system for reducing the line laser size of the shaping system by 5 times were designed by ZEMAX.The beam shaping system consists of a Powell lens with a fan angle of 10° and an incident spot diameter of 3 mm and two orthogonal spherical plano-convex cylindrical lens with unequal focal lengths. After the shaping system, the calculated theoretical size of the linear spot is obtained,it is 10.5mm × 72?m.The imaging system consists of two lenses with a focal length of f250 mm and a lens with a focal length of f30 mm.The theoretical value of the linear spot size after the imaging system is 2.1mm×14.4?m.3.The refraction beam shaping system and the imaging system were built on the optical platform only. The laser spot analyzer and relevant micro-machining experiments verified the feasibility of the beam shaping system.
