In recent years,the passive millimeter wave radiation scene simulation has been widely used in the radiation measuring application.On the one hand,by radiation scene simulation,we can understand the radiation phenomenon of shielding and reflection between target and scene.And we can summarize the regularity.On the other hand,we can rapidly and accurately evaluate the relevant information of radiometer by scene simulating.It can be used to verify the feasibility of the actual millimeter wave radiation measurement schemes.The millimeter wave radiation scene simulation is widely used,but there is few research of cavity target at domestic and overseas.Based on the application of millimeter wave radiation scene simulation technology,on the radiation characteristics of cavity target,this paper mainly conducts theoretical research from the following aspects:Based on four law of the basic theory of heat radiation,in millimeter wave radiation observation,starting from the essence of atmospheric model,ground model,and target model.The ray tracing algorithm is improved,the introduction of the basic theory of diffraction.In the process of applying the mm-wave radiation scene simulation method,various factors are considered,such as atmospheric attenuation,ground elements,antenna effect,multiple reflection,edge diffraction,etc.To study the relationship of cavity radiation characteristics with material properties,surface structure,cavity depth,observation angle,observation distance,a large number of comparative analysis are conducted,and relevant regularities are summarized.We can gain some insight into the regularities of antenna temperature and equivalent emissivity.Meanwhile,we research the cavity surface edge diffraction phenomenon on the influence of target brightness temperature.Finally,by using actually millimeter wave radiometer to scan imaging on cavity target,we contrast and analyze radiation scene simulation and actual measurement data to verify the accuracy of the theoretical model.
