In order to solve the existing problems in the measurement and control system of combustion driven DF chemical lasers,such as the large system volume and complex wiring,an embedded intelligent measurement and control system powered by a battery pack has been designed.Based on the analysis of the basic functions and operating characteristics of chemical lasers' measurement and control system,the embedded intelligent measurement and control system is divided into 3 function modules: flow field data acquisition and storage module,fuel's supply sequence control module,and closed-loop flow rate control module.Flow field data acquisition and storage module was designed based on microcontrollers and SD cards,and can collect,store and transmit data from 6 sensors at the same time;Fuel' s supply sequence control module used microcontrollers,ULN2003 darlington transistors and relays as core units,and can control the supply sequences of fuels in 14 channels at the same time.Closed-loop flow rate control module used microcontrollers,MAX538 and AD694 chips as core units,and can control fuels' flow rates of 4 channels at the same time.An electromagnetic isolation circuit was added to enhance the system's resistance of electromagnetic interference.The master control programs consist of 3 parts: microcontroller programs,a PC control program,and an Android PDA control program,which were wrote based on C programming language and PIC internal instructions,LabVIEW2012,Java programming language and Eclipse,respectively.The communication between PC/ Android PDA control program and 3 function modules was realized wirelessly by SI4432 chips,or by 485 data bus.The master control programs together with 3 function modules realized the measurement and control of chemical laser's operating parameters.The fundamental function of the above three modules was tested by serial assistant,and the communication between PC/Android PDA control program and 3 function modules was tested based on a single fuel channel of a combustion driven HF/DF chemical laser.An electromagnetic interference experiment was done based on a discharge driven HF/DF chemical laser.Test results show that this embedded intelligent measurement and control system operates stably and reliably,and has a strong anti-interference ability,can meet the functional requirements of the measurement and control system of chemical lasers.Can be controlled remotely by Android PDA,it realized the mobile control of chemical lasers.This embedded intelligent measurement and control system has not only a smaller volume and lighter weight,but also good expansibility and reliable data security,laying a solid foundation for the compactness of chemical lasers.At the same time,it can be mass-customized according to the requirements of different chemical lasers,which shows a good application prospect.
