Immobilization is a method of efficient use of enzymes which emerged in the 1950 s.Enzyme immobilization is a technique that binds or confines the enzyme to a certain area with a solid material yet it can still perform its own unique catalytic function and can be recovered and reused. The corresponding solid material is called a carrier.Searching for new environmentally-friendly low-cost carriers is an important part of the study of immobilized enzymes.Amyloid fibers are an aggregate of proteins that are in a misfolded form.Due to its relationship with many major human diseases researchers have attracted extensive attention. As a kind of protein aggregate its surface has a residual amino group in which a protein molecule does not form a peptide bond so it can be considered that it functions as an immobilized enzyme carrier. In this study guanidine hydrochloride was used to induce lysozyme to form amyloid protein glutaraldehyde was used as cross-linking compound and amyloid fiber and lysozyme were linked to achieve lysozyme immobilization. The immobilized enzyme method can increase the use efficiency of the enzyme reduce the waste of the enzyme and facilitate the separation recovery and treatment.Compared with other immobilized enzyme methods this study also has the advantages of short time environmental protection and reusable inducer and has great prospects for industrial production promotion.
