The purpose of this project is to design a torque sensor that can measure multiple torque ranges.After analyzing the strain and sensing principle of fiber Bragg grating(FBG),a kind of adjustable range spoke FBG torque sensor is designed.The torque sensor has the characteristics of adjustable range,higher measurement accuracy,and flexible measurement method.At the same time,the torque sensor eliminates the effect of temperature on the grating wavelength drift in the torque measurement experiment.The main contents of this paper are as follows.Firstly,the existing methods of torque measurement are introduced.Their working principle,advantages and disadvantages are analyzed.The current research status of FBG torque sensors at home and abroad are briefly described.Secondly,the sensing mechanism of FBG is analyzed,including its temperature and stress characteristics and cross-sensitivity characteristics.The basic principle of torque measurement is introduced.By combining the principle of fiber grating sensing with the principle of torque measurement,the FBG torque sensing model is initially established.Several common solutions to solve the temperature and strain sensitivity crossover problem are introduced.The working characteristics of different solutions are analyzed.The appropriate solution is selected on the basis of the actual measurement conditions.Thirdly,two kinds of torque sensing models,shaft structure and spoke structure,are established respectively.Based on the theoretical research,the two models are simulated and analyzed respectively.According to the simulation results,the two structures are optimized for size and shape respectively.In order to measure the spoke type torque sensor in the laboratory,a torsion test platform is built.Finally,the working performance of the FBG torque sensor is obtained through the positive and negative stroke torsion measurement and temperature measurement experiment.According to the measurement parameters,the static parameters of the sensor are analyzed and calculated.
