In order to obtain more accurate moon mountain of ningxia area in the Quaternary loess data and mineral characteristics and geochemical characteristics of the paleo environmental information record,select the moon mountain Xiji County of Ningxia Guyuan Yaobazhuang loess section,using quartz OSL dating and sedimentary environmental mineralogy substitution refers to calibration method of the comparative study by using quartz OSL;OSL dating apparatus(Daybreak 2200)deposition dating of Quaternary loess,loess strata division,through comprehensive analysis of the loess samples of clay minerals,carbonate minerals,detrital minerals and heavy minerals,grain size and magnetic rate and resistivity of loess mineral assemblages and environmental indexes and major elements and the geochemical characteristics of trace elements.Through the comprehensive analysis of OSL dating and the environmental indexes showed that about 65205~14120a B.P in arid and cold climate during the winter monsoon,vegetation degradation,weak weathering,formed Malan loess of late Pleistocene;about 14120~10611a B.P in the Holocene warm and humid period,summer monsoon,precipitation a large amount of lush vegetation,strong chemical weathering,the formation of Holocene paleosol;about 10611 a B.P in the cold dry period,the winter monsoon prevailed,vegetation degradation,chemical weathering is weak,the formation of the Holocene Loess loess layer;the moon mountain area is mainly the distal facies,near source deposition by far recharge source deposition mainly from northwestern Gobi and Alashan desert areas,sandstone and conglomerate weathering near source sedimentary mainly from the study area nearby Area;determine the Aeolian Loess Section in loess,source material and paleo environmental information,in order to reveal the evolution of quaternary climate of modern natural geographical environment and the trend of development has important reference value,at the same time as the new energy(wind and solar energy)modernization construction and development of tourism resources provide favorable Quaternary loess strata data and environmental evolution.
