With the rapid development of society and economy in our country,the population density in the coastal areas is increasing.The contradiction between environmental degradation,resource shortage and the increasing demand for people's lives is becoming increasingly acute.The reclamation of the sea has become a coastal area to ease the contradiction between land supply and demand,expanding.An effective means of social survival and development space.However,the use of "coastal development methods" built along the coastal loops often leads to the disadvantages of coastal erosion,reduction of offshore species,and destruction of natural landscapes.The "Island-style development method" method is used to fill the existing shoreline and The impact of the offshore environment is small.In this paper,the MIKE21 mathematical model is used to take the Conch Island and the Lotus Island project in Qinhuangdao Sea as an example to numerically simulate the effects of artificial islands and artificial island groups on the tidal currents and siltation changes in the nearby sea area.The results show that after the construction of Conch Island separately,the flow velocity formed on the waterway and the south side of the coal wharf increases,and at the same time,scour occurs;the flow rate on the east side and the interior decreases and siltation occurs.After the construction of the Lotus Island separately,the flow velocity increases near the northwestern and southeastern side of the Lotus Island,and the erosion takes place.Among them,the southeastern port is more pronounced;the northeast and southwest sides of the Lotus Island decreases in flow velocity,and the silting situation is aggravated;near the Lotus Island The overall change in scouring and silting is small.After the construction of the artificial island group of Conch Island and Lotus Island completed,the flow velocity on the northwest side of Lotus Island changes slightly.The flow velocity between the northeast side of Lotus Island and Conch Island increases significantly,and the sedimentation changes from silting to erosion.The erosion and deposition changes in the project area are not significant after the construction of Conch Island or Lotus Island alone.
