Many odors are contaminated by volatile organic compounds(VOCs),which are not only irritating to the sense of smell,but also have a bad influence on the environment and endanger people's normal living environment and physical and mental health.Many of the odors in life are caused by the degradation of proteins and other organic substances in an anaerobic environment.The main malodorous substances are ammonia gas and hydrogen sulfide gas.Due to the widespread presence of ammonia gas and the extremely low odor threshold of hydrogen sulfide,the contribution of the two to the odor concentration is relatively high.Many physicochemical methods have been used for deodorization,such as masking,neutralization,dilution,adsorption and absorption,oxidation,and combustion.In recent years,there have been no secondary pollution,high removal efficiency,and economical deodorization.Law has become a hot topic of research.For the main odor pollution sources such as life,livestock and poultry,we have conducted studies on the construction of biological deodorants and the application of biological deodorization methods.The pig manure from the livestock and poultry farms and biotrickling filter biofilms were used as the main source to screen microorganisms capable of removing malodorous odors such as ammonia nitrogen and hydrogen sulfide,and they were made into composite microbial preparations for engineering application and verification.The main steps and results are as follows:(1)Three strains with deodorizing effect were identified by the experiment and named as DR,DJ,DS.After identification of molecular biology of strains,they were Lactobacillus paracasei sp.,Candida succiphila and Lysinibacillis sphaericus,respectively.Morphological observation,BIOLOG metabolic profiles of the three strains through Biolog experiments and combining their ability to use different carbon sources,we found that 25 different types of sugars and their derivatives and 12 kinds of amino acids and their derivatives have good metabolic capacity.(3)3 For the same strain,the optimum pH range for removing ammonium ions and sulfide ions varies.Candida(C.succiphila)has better removal of ammonium ions,and L.sphaericus has a strong ability to remove sulfur ions.The best conditions for the synthesis of the three strains are pH 6~8 and temperature 30°C.(4)Through the orthogonal test,the optimal microbial deodorization ratio of the composite microbial preparation was obtained.According to the difference in deodorization function between different strains of different strains,the optimal combination of ammonia nitrogen removal rate was 40% DR,20% DJ and 5% DS.Among them,the contribution and influence of DR was the greatest;the optimal level combination for removal of hydrogen sulfide was 20% DR,10% DJ and 40% DS,its greatest contribution and influence is DS;the optimal level of comprehensive deodorization ability is 40% DR,10% DJ and 40% DS.For different odor sources and material composition,select the appropriate ratio to achieve a better deodorant effect.(5)The odor removal experiments of different components of microorganisms were carried out with three types of components,including metabolites,intact microorganisms,and intracellular secretions.The results showed that the order of the removal of ammonia nitrogen was as follows: intact microorganisms > microbial metabolism Products > intracellular secretions;the order of the removal of hydrogen sulfide gas is: intact micro organisms> intracellular secretions> microbial metabolites.This result shows that the decrease in odor concentration is the result of the combined action of the components of the microbial preparation.(6)The application of the microbial deodorization project to the sewage purification vehicle,community septic tank,garbage transfer station and landfill site was carried out.The results showed that the preparation had a better treatment effect on the closed odor source and the development of the odor source..The actual deodorizing effect is related to temperature,air pressure,air humidity,odor components,and dosing methods.In some cases,the situation is more complex and the factors are cross-influenced.Through the analysis of targeted odor sources,the main odor factors of odors in life are ammonia and hydrogen sulfide,and highly specific complex microbial preparations for the removal of pollutants such as ammonia nitrogen and hydrogen sulfide are prepared.The preliminary application shows that production can be achieved.The use of sexual products for the removal of odorous sources of life will further require experimentation and research in their economy,applicability and other aspects.With the gradual improvement of atmospheric laws and regulations,the biological deodorization method that effectively reduces odor and VOC concentrations in the atmosphere has important practical significance for improving people's health.
