Genome-wide association studies are effective in investigating the loci related with complex diseases. It can detect thousands of SNPs information at one time and uncover unknown genes.Family-based association analysis has unique advantages over population-based association analysis,as they are robust against population admixture and stratification. In this paper, test statistic for quantitative traits incorporating family information is to investigate the loci related with diseases of interest.Unlike most association analyses are under the known genetic model with binary traits,or directly using the statistic based on additive model under unknown genetic model. However, many of the known genetic diseases are quantitative traits, and the underlying genetic model is not only manifested as additive model. So,this paper develops a robust test statistic(?3? for quantitative traits and consider recessive, additive and dominant genetic model at the same time,(?3? is more robust when the genetic model is uncertain.Simulation results show that(?3?can easy control the first type I error under recessive, additive and dominant genetic model, and power is very robust.Especially when the genetic model is recessive,(?3? in different sample size and the number of families has more power. In conclusion,(?3? is a more robust statistic when the genetic model is uncertain.
