Coastal zone is a region which has relatively complex geological conditions, the reasonable planning for land science of the coastal area is the key to achieve co-ordination,integration and coordinated development between land and sea.As a transfer zone of the land-sea interaction,as well as the most concentrated area of Earth's population, city and industry, coastal belt has the pivotal position of sustainable development of human society.Laizhou Bay Coastal Zone is a very important marine economic development zone, not only occupies an important position in the marine economy of Shandong Province, but also occupies a clear advantage in the country. In order to meet the needs of development of Laizhou Bay Coastal Zone, there has carried out, including engineering survey, engineering geological drilling,in-situ test?standard penetration test?,indoors test, theoretical analysis and other research methods,in line with the characteristics of layout of geo-spatial development and its geological environment.Through the analysis of the basic data such as geology, structure and hydrogeological condition, the stratigraphic structure, topography, geological structure and hydrogeological conditions of the study area are obtained.Based on the analysis of 24measured engineering geological drilling data and 202 geologic drilling data of the project,9 engineering geological layers were divided, and the types of rock and soil, distribution of poor geological bodies and the engineering geology structural features have been understood.Based on these, the three-dimensional engineering geological model of Laizhou Bay coastal zone was established by MapGIS K9 software. The image of the model objectively reflected the engineering stratigraphic structure and geological characteristics of the study area, and played a supporting role in the engineering geologic comprehensive zoning of the study area.According to the terrain and geomorphology, geological structure, geotechnical engineering geological type and characteristics, the land area of the study area is divided into three engineering geological zones, namely, the first engineering geological area???,the second engineering geological area???and the third engineering geological area???.On the basis of the three major engineering areas, according to different engineering geological conditions and possible engineering geological problems, eight engineering geological subregions also have been divided, namely, the Yellow River Delta alluvial sea layer stable-less stable subregion?I1?,Guangbei-Xinanzhuang alluvial marine layer relatively unstable subregion?I2?,Shouguang-Changyi mountain alluvial flood layer stability-less stable subregion?I3?,Changle South metamorphic rock extrusive rock clastic rock less unstable subregion???,Jiaolai plain alluvial deposits and clastic rocks stable and unstable subregions??1?,Laixi-Laiyang clastic rock extrusive rock stable subregion??2?,Daze mountain-kunyu mountain metamorphic rock intrusion rock and the flood layer stable-less stable subregion??3?,Longkou-Penglai metamorphic rock intrusive rock less unstable subregion??4?.According to the tectonic and geomorphic unit, the study area is divided into three regions, namely, the fourth engineering geological area?IV?,the fifth engineering geological area?V?and the sixth engineering geological area?VI?.In accordance with the study of seafloor geomorphology, sedimentary environment, sediment transport and shallow soil physical and mechanical properties of sea area, the study area is divided into 6 subregions, namely, the Longkou Bay accumulation plain subregion?IV1?,Taiping Bay Coastal accumulation plain subregion?IV2?,modern the Yellow River delta subregion?V1?,the west coast of Laizhou Bay coastal plain area?V2?,southern coast of Laizhou Bay subregion?V3?,the coastal plain of South Laizhou Bay yishu fault subregion?V4?.
