In recent years,lakes have been affected by global climate change and regional human production and life,and it has been gradually shrinking.Lake atrophy seriously affects the safety of the surrounding ecosystems and ecological environment,which is one of the important environmental crises faced by contemporary human beings.The main reason for this change is climate change and human activities.Therefore,real-time and accurate dynamic monitoring of lakes is particularly important for scientific and rational development,utilization and supervision of the protection of lakes.Wuhan has always been known as the "100-Lake City," with numerous lakes and rich lake resources.However,due to rapid urbanization,significant population growth,over-exploitation of lakes,and natural evolution of lakes,the ecological environment of lakes in Wuhan has been seriously affected.The destruction of landscape and landscape structure have undergone great changes,which have damaged the natural functions of lakes and lakes to a certain extent,brought many environmental and ecological problems,studied the temporal and spatial dynamics of Wuhan lakes for a long period of time,and protected lake resources and urban economy.The sustainable development and other aspects are of great significance.This article takes Wuhan City as the research area,uses long-range sequenced remote sensing images,uses the improved normalized differential water body index(MNDWI),combines GIS technology,and artificial visual interpretation to obtain Wuhan remote sensing from 1987 to 2016.In the image,the area of the lake was extracted,and the changes in the lake area of the lakes in Wuhan City,the far urban area of Wuhan City,and the main urban area in Wuhan City were analyzed,combined with meteorological data and historical data,in terms of climate change and human activities.Analysis of the driving factors of lake area changes in Wuhan.The main conclusion of this paper is as follows:(1)From 1987 to 2016,the area of lakes in Wuhan City is constantly changing,showing a general downward trend.In 1987,the lake area in Wuhan was 964.52 km2.By 2016,the lake area was 906.89 km2,a total drop of 57.64 km2.In 2002,the lake area reached the highest value,with an area of 1170.64 km2.In 2014,the lake area was the smallest with an area of only 730.19 km2.Among them,the lake area grew fastest in 1997-1998,while the lake area decreased fastest in 2005-2006.(2)From 1987 to 2016,the lake area in the main urban area of Wuhan City showed a significant decrease,and the lakes in the main city area continued to shrink.In 1987,the lake area of the main urban area was 154.20 km2.By 2016,the lake area was only 81.00 km2,a total decrease of 73.20 km2,and the lake area had shrunk by 47%.In 1991,the lake area in the main city reached the highest value,with an area of 186.49 km2,2014.The area of the lake is the smallest with an area of only 77.83 km2.The difference between the largest area and the smallest area of the lake is 108.65 km2.The lake area decreases fastest in 2005-2006,while the lake area grows fastest in 2014-2015;Wuhan,1987-2016 The lake area in the city of the far urban area also showed a slight decrease trend.The change trend of the lake area was basically the same as that of the lake area in Wuhan City.However,the lake area in the far urban area of Wuhan City had a greater change.(3)From 1987 to 2016,the area of South Lake presented a rapid decline and gradually stabilized.In 1987,the area of South Lake was 15.43 km2.By 2016,the lake area was only 7.13 km2,a total decrease of 8.30 km2,and lakes shrank by 53.80 %.From 1987 to 2016,the area of sand lakes showed a significant decrease.In 1987,the area of sand lakes was 8.29 km2,and the area was only 2.29 km2 in 2016,a total reduction of 6.00 km2,and the lakes shrank by 72.37 %.The reduction of lakes was particularly serious.(4)(2)Climate change and human activities lead to the change of Lake area.For lakes in Wuhan and Wuhan,the annual precipitation has a fluctuating influence on the change of Lake area,but it has little influence on the change of Lake area in the main city of Wuhan.The change of Lake area in the main city of Wuhan is mainly influenced by the temperature and human activities,among which the human activities are more affected.The construction area of Wuhan housing construction,the annual resident population of Wuhan and the area of the lake are negatively related.
