The Tamusu uranium deposit is one of the most important uranium deposits in the Bayingebi Basin.Ore bodies are characterized by a large number of uranium ore-body layers,various mineralized lithology,large ore body depth,large water inflow,and high diagenesis.And they were hydrothermal alternated.These characteristics severely restrict the choice of development methods for the deposit.This paper is guided by the theory of uranium metallogenic,with the Tamusu uranium deposit as the study area.The upper part of the Bayingebi Formation is the research horizon.And the careful observation of cores and modern experimental analysis techniques is the main method,combining locality with the whole,and combining of description and quantitative analysis,systematic analysis of the ore characteristics,alternation characteristics and uranium distribution characteristics of the Tamusu uranium deposit,and exploration of its uranium enrichment causes.Those will provide certain reference for prospecting and mining of uranium deposits in similar deposits.?1?Based on detailed analysis of the characteristics of the ore components in the study area,this thesis summarized the types of ore by different lithologies and colors.Meanwhile,the characteristics of the material composition,chemical composition and accompanying elements were summarized.There are two types of ore types in the Tamusu Uranium Deposit including sandstone type and mudstone type.Ore fillings are mainly cemented,including dolomite series cementation,calcite cementation,gypsum cementation mainly.The burning loss and CaO content in the ore decreased with the increase of uranium grade,and the content of SiO2?Al2O3 and Na2O increased with the increase of uranium grade.The two elements of selenium and molybdenum are the most closely related to uranium in the associated elements.?2?This thesis detailed summarized alteration characteristics of hematite/goethite/limonite mineralization/jarosite,carbonation,gypsum,pyrite,chlorite,fluorspar,etc.Carbonation is more common among them.The carbonate minerals are dominant by dolomite,iron bearing dolomite,calcite,and iron calcite.There are three gypsum output forms including bedding gypsum?sedimentary?,gypsum along the tectonic striation,and gypsum evenly distributed in the sandstone cement.Pyrite is strawberry,flower like and spherulite in sandstone.The fluorite alteration is often associated with gypsum,limonite,carbonation,and pyrite mineralization.?3?Based on microscopy,scanning electron microscopy and electron probes,it has shown that uranium is mainly distributed in in and around minerals,in cement,and in plant debris.According to the uranium ore electron probe analysis,the uranium in the ore is mainly in the form of independent minerals,and a small amount of adsorbed uranium can be seen.The independent uranium minerals are mainly bitumen uranium ore and uranium stone.?4?In study area,uranium mineralization developed in the upper part of bayangebi formation is most closely related to the interlayer oxidation zone.The uranium mineralization mostly located in the front line of the interlayer oxidation zone.At the same time,it is also controlled by sedimentary facies.The uranium mineralization is mainly located in the transition part of the fan delta front and the front fan delta.?5?Based on the study of ore characteristics,uranium characteristics and major uranium mineralization-controlling factors,it is believed that the uranium mineralization in the study area includes depositional-diagenesis stage,thermal transformation stage and epigenetic oxidation stage.
