Elemental capture spectroscopy logging has been used in the advent of natural gamma and neutron-induced gamma ray spectral tools.With the continuous improvement of measurement techniques and analytical methods,element capture spectroscopy logging technology is maturing.The element capture energy spectrometry logging technology can identify the rock composition,solve the problem of lithology identification,then evaluate the strata,coal seam and methane,and comprehensively evaluate hydrocarbon reservoir.Element capture spectroscopy logging is a high end nuclear physics logging method,which is critical to improve the accuracy of heterogeneous reservoir evaluation.The core technology of elemental capture spectrometry logging has been a total monopoly of the three major international service companies,Schlumberger,Halliburton and Baker Hughes.It is an urgent research task to calculate the yield and dry weight of the oxide closure model by means of the element logging tool.The research of elemental capture spectroscopy logging in China is still blank.The purpose of this thesis is to study the calculation method of elemental yield in elemental logging,and to develop capture logging application to fill the blank in this field.The solution of the yield in the element capture energy spectral logging includes the traditional spectrum counting,drift correction,and the measurement spectrum processing theory and program.The net capture spectrum acquisition method,the element correlation analysis model and the element correlation parameters are proposed and used for the first time.A method for calculating capture yield based on element group is proposed for the first time.This paper provides a method to improve the calculation accuracy of elemental yield in the production of element capture.Methods include the measurement of energy spectrum processing,element correlation correction,error information separation,and element yield calculation theory and program implementation.In this paper,the results of research method and application element yield are consistent with the data provided by Schlumberger,and the calculation error of element yield is small.The results of elemental yield calculation are applied to the identification of strata minerals and lithology,which coincide with the results of mineral China Petroleum Exploration and Development Institute.The results have been integrated into China petroleum Exploration and Development Research Institute ciflog-v2.2 well logging platform element logging module.
