The continuous development of industry has caused the continuous increase of non-spherical particle pollutants in the air,these non-spherical particle contaminants have a great influence on photodetection and optoelectronic communication.Therefore,people need to study the law of polarization transmission in non-spherical media,and improve the photoelectric equipment by using the laws of research,so as to improve the target recognition ability and communication quality of electro-optical devices.In this paper,polarization characteristics are studied from three parts of polarization transmission experiment,polarization transmission simulation and polarization imaging experiment.In polarization transmission experiment,using a new non-spherical particle preparation method(burning ganoderma spore method)are non-spherical medium and applied to the smoke simulation environment,and puts forward the particle concentration used to characterize the optical depth is not easy to control,the optical depth as a variable,analyzed the effect of optical depth on the polarization properties,compared and non-spherical medium polarization transmission experiment results and in spherical medium polarization transmission experimental results,analyzes the similarities and differences in the two law of polarization transmission medium.In the simulation,improved Monte Carlo simulation of spherical particle simulation traditional only on transmission properties of non-spherical particles are simulated by using Monte Carlo simulation sampling function fitting method,the simulation results and the results of polarization transmission of mutual authentication,to ensure the accuracy of the conclusion.At the same time,the traditional Monte Carlo method is used to simulate the spherical particles,and the simulation results of the two kinds of particles are compared and analyzed.Finally,polarization imaging experiments on different concentrations of non-spherical medium are carried out,and the obtained Stokes vectors are combined and analyzed.The polarization smoke penetration ability and the highlight effect on the target edge profile are demonstrated.
