High repetition rate 1.06?m all-solid-state laser is widely used in laser remote sensing,ranging,radar,optoelectrionic,countermeasure,optical communication technique,laser processing.Proving the repetition rate and pulse stability is extremely important needs in the developing of high repetition rate laser,but the heat effect in laser crystal is very serious in808nm pump,result in the highest repetition rate in the laser can't be improved more,and large pulse width,bad pulse stability,the beam quality is also need to be improved.In terms of the questions,this paper carry out the relevant theories and experimental studies in In-band pump.In the theoretical,first we did theoretical analysis in high repetition rate acousto-optic Q-switched laser.Based on Q-switch laser rate equation,we analyzed the influence factors acousto-optic Q-switched laser high frequency rate and pulse stability,and the influence of heat effect to acousto-optic Q-switched laser repetition rate and pulse stability.At the same time,we analyzed the output characteristics as pulse peak,pulse energy,pulse width in Q-switched laser,on this basis we analyzed the influence to pulse output character by heat effect.Then,we did simulation and analysis on LD In-band pump Nd:YVO4 laser about crystal energy level transition structure and heat effect.And we did contrastive analysis on laser transfer efficiency and heat effect under In-band pump and traditional pump.In experiment,we did contrastive studies on laser output characteristics under 808nm pump and 880nm,888nm,914nm In-band pump.At the absorbed power 25W,the largest output power is 12.26W,12.81W,16.08W,16.59W,and the transfer frequency is49%,51.2%,64.3%,66.4%.Others,using 25W absorbed pump power dual-end pump can increase more transfer efficiency.By comparing the variation situation of laser output power,we got that using low quantum loss In-band pump to reduce the heat effect in crystal can enhance working repetition rate,output pulse stability and output performance.
