In the construction of Highway engineering,due to its large thickness,large deformation,high water content,large compressibility,low strength,poor bearing capacity,large subsidence and long settlement period,the soft ground cannot meet the requirements of foundation load.However,in practical projects,it is often inevitable to encounter soft ground.To meet the bearing requirements,the two key problems that must be solved are the deformation of foundation and the stability of foundations.The technology of gravel column reinforcement is easy to draw,with the characteristics of simple construction technology,ideal reinforcement effect and low cost,scholars at home and abroad have carried out more in-depth analysis and research on the stress and deformation characteristics of gravel column composite Foundation,and also distinguished more effective methods,but in practical engineering,due to the complexity of soft soil,The accuracy of the settlement calculation of gravel column composite Foundation is still poor,which leads to a great error between theoretical calculation and practical engineering,which often affects the project duration and causes economic losses,and even causes engineering accidents.Therefore,in order to make the design theory of soft ground have a new development,it is very necessary to study the settlement and deformation law of gravel column composite foundation more deeply.Based on the relevant data of the Qarhan-Geermu highway project in saline soil in Qinghai Province,this paper systematically studies the law of Settlement and deformation of highway gravel column composite foundation in this area,and obtains the following three results:1.According to the measured settlement data during the pre-compression period of the project,the settlement and deformation of the gravel column composite foundation are predicted by hyperbolic method,exponential curve method,S-curve method and gray prediction model,respectively.The results of each prediction were compared and analyzed,and the applicability of various prediction methods to predict the settlement of the gravel column composite foundation was obtained.2.Using finite element software ABAQUS,select the appropriate parameters and constitutive model to establish the gravel column composite foundation model to simulate the monitoring cross-section,and compare the numerical analysis results with the measured settlement data to draw the numerical analysis method for gravel column composite foundation settlement calculation.3.By using the finite element software ABAQUS,the orthogonal experiment was introduced,considering the soft soil layer thickness,soft soil compression modulus,soft soil Poisson's ratio,soft soil cohesion,soft soil internal friction angle and area replacement Rate on the settlement of gravel colunm composite foundation,the establishment of six factors and five levels of orthogonal test table.And use the range of calculation results,analysis of variance to quantify the impact of influence;Finally,the experimental results were multivariate nonlinear regression analysis given the settlement under the influence of the key parameters of subsidence experience calculation formula,in order to facilitate similar engineering practice.
