The calibration need to adjust the direction of the dipole antenna so that it can parallel to the electric field inside the GTEM Cell because the special angle of the radio frequency(RF)electric field probe's dipole antenna when we use GTEM Cell as a RF field probe calibration environment(The output voltage of the antenna is the largest and the ending of calibration is the best when the dipole antenna is parallel to the electric field).At the same time,because of the complex RF electric field inside the GTEM cell,there is also a communication problem between the GTEM cell interior and an external PC.In response to these problems,this paper has done these works:1.The RF electric field probe and its calibration are introduced in this paper,and then the problems in the calibration are raised.The overall solution of the console for RF electric field probe calibration is put forward according to the above problems,and then the details of the scheme are expounded.2.In this paper,the RF field probe calibration console is designed,and the calibration console is introduced in detail from two parts,respectively,the mechanical structure part and electronic control part.In the part of mechanical structure,this paper analyzes how to design the console for RF electric field probe calibration,and then it describes how to make the RF electric field probe rotate mechanically.Then it proposes a method of mechanical structure design.In the electronic control,the functional requirements of the console for RF electric field probe calibration are analyzed,and the photoelectric sensor for detecting the position of the probe is designed.At the same time,we select optical fiber to solve the communication problems,and finally designed for the functional requirements of the electronic control part.3.In this paper,a closed-loop angle control algorithm is designed based on the calibration console to solve the problem of automatically adjusting the parallelism between the electric field and the dipole antenna.The experimental results show that this method has better control results.
