Soil enzymes play an important role in soil nutrient cycling and play an important role in promoting nutrient accumulation in desert areas. In this report,We select the typical vegetation types in the eastern edge of Maowusu sandy land as the research object,The activity of hydrolase and redox enzyme, the content of soil nutrients and the correlation between soil enzymes and soil nutrients were determined by stratified sampling(0-30 cm).To further explore the role of soil enzymes in the process of soil nutrient accumulation in desert areas. The findings are as follows: 1)The results showed that the hydrolase activities of Caragana korshinskii,Salix korshinskii, fine alfalfa and Artemisia annua decreased with the increase of soil depth, and the activity of hydrolase increased in the order of Caragana korshinskii > Salix korshinskii > alfalfa > Artemisia annua. The results showed that the typical vegetation played an important role in promoting soil hydrolase, and the surface layer was the main one.(2)The results showed that the redox enzyme activity of four typical vegetation decreased with the increase of soil depth, but the profile of peroxidase and polyphenol oxidase will down-increase and decrease. The range of the activity of oxidoreductase was Caragana korshinskii > Salix davidiana > alfalfa > Artemisia annua, which proved that the four kinds of typical vegetation had important significance to enhance the activity of oxidoreductase.(3)The results showed that the soil carbon content of the four typical vegetation was Salix willow > Caragana korshinskii > Artemisia artemisia > alfalfa, which indicated that Salix and Artemisia artemisia could efficiently utilize soil enzymes to promote soil carbon cycle.(4)The results showed that the soil nitrogen content of Caragana korshinskii,Salix korshinskii, fine alfalfa and Artemisia annua was found to be > Caragana korshinskii > Artemisia artemisia > alfalfa, which proved that the typical vegetation played an important role in promoting the accumulation of soil nitrogen. The effect of Salix and Artemisia is more obvious.(5)The results showed that there were similar profile distribution characteristics between soil phosphorus and soil carbon and nitrogen in four typical vegetation, and the soil nitrogen contents of Caragana korshinskii,Salix willow, fine alfalfa and Artemisia artemisia were: Salix korshinskii > Caragana korshinskii > Artemisia artemisia > alfalfa. That is,in the process of soil phosphorus accumulation,Salix willow and Artemisia annua can use less soil enzymes to convert more nutrient phosphorus.(6)Correlation analysis showed that there was a significant correlation between soil enzymes and soil nutrients, and soil enzymes had important significance in promoting soil nutrient cycle. This study suggests that promoting soil enzyme activity plays an important role in soil nutrient accumulation, which may be an important way to improve soil nutrient status in desert areas. At the same time, the enhancement of soil enzyme activity is of great significance to improve the plant community environment and promote the coordinated development of regional environment.
