Taking the porous-groundwater as the research object,the visualization of porous groundwater flow field,one of the vector field visualization,applies scientific visualization technology to the visual representation of hydrogeology and groundwater flow field.Traditional visualization methods(such as point primitives,streamline,etc.)are mostly static simulations or pseudo dynamic simulations in the transient state,which is not applicable for the expression of groundwater flow field dynamics.The particle system has been considered to be one of the most successful image generation algorithms for simulating irregularly dynamic blurred objects so far,which has been widely studied and applied.Therefore,based on the theory of particle system theory,this paper took porous groundwater as the research object to study and realize the three-dimensional dynamic visual simulation of porous groundwater flow field.The main works and results of this paper includes the following four aspects:(1)Having analyzed the theoretical knowledge and key technologies involved in the thesis,and accessing to domestic and foreign literature,this article summarizes the basic characteristics of porous groundwater flow field and the mechanism of the motor process.Besides,the basic principles and application of particle systems and groundwater flow,as well as the research status and problems of field three-dimensional visualization and other issues were discussed.(2)By analyzing the mechanism and temporal-spatial attribute change rules of porous water,a particle system model suitable for the porous groundwater flow field and related properties of fluid particles were built based on the theoretical method of particle system,including the number of initial particles,the life cycle of the particles,and the shape transparency of the particles and so on.(3)The study explored the particle flow trajectory calculation method and visualization method of the porous groundwater flow field.Based on the monitoring well water level data,the DEM of the water level of the study area are interpolated,and the velocity of the fluid particles is calculated.Thus,the position,velocity,life cycle,and other attributes of the updated particles could be regularly changed.In the study of visualization methods,properties such as particle size,transparency,and colors were designed.At the same time,VTK texture maps and pseudo particle viscosity methods were used to enhance the veracity of the simulation results of the porous groundwater flow field.(4)Based on the above research results,the experiment took the porous water of the third confined aquifer in the Yancheng City as the research object,combining the object-oriented C++ language and MFC development library,using Visual Studio 2010 as the development platform and VTK as the rendering engine and visualization tool,to develop the visualization system of the porous groundwater flow field.This system realized the dynamic visualization expression of the porous groundwater flow field based on the particle system,which verified the feasibility and applicability of the particle system for the simulation expression of the porous groundwater flow field.
