With the continuous development of the national ocean exploration and strengthen of underwater research, the acquisition ability of the underwater acoustic signal acquisition system coutinue increasing, such as higher sensitivity, higher gain, can store more data, longer working hours, working environment worse(SEA),the study of underwater acoustic signal acquisition system established the foundation for the research of underwater acoustic signal processing. In this paper, the signal acquisition system is designed based on the signal acquisition requirements of the 48-element sonar array.48-element sonar array changes the collection of the sound signal into analog signals to the outgoing data acquisition system,AD analog-to-digital converter system will receive analog signal and change it into a digital signal, the signal is redesigned by FPGA on the first level FIFO cache,PowerPC file system specification according to the specified data storage location data is the final storage module to the SATA system to SSD.When data is uploaded, the transmission command is sent to the PowerPC by the host computer. After the PowerPC responsing the command, the state machine will notify the state machine to transfer the specified files through the optical fiber module to the host computer, and complete the data transmission work. The main content of this paper is design of acoustic signal acquisition system, the main chip selection scheme and other peripherals, hardware circuit design, software design and program at the end of the underwater acoustic signal acquisition system performance testing, stability and power consumption test.In the laboratory environment, the data acquisition function of the system is tested, and then there is a 50 hours duplication test. And it turns out that the system works stably, and the power consumption is normal. All the functional characteristics meet the design standard.
