Mesopotamia basin is one of the most prolific petroliferous basins in the world,mainly for the production of Cretaceous Mishrif group.Iraq hfy oilfield tectonic division belongs to Mesopotamia basin of the foredeep,gentle anticline is a wide,about 38 km long,12 km wide.The direction of the long axis of the NW-SE,is typical of the structural reservoir.On the basis of previous studies,a comprehensive analysis of the Iraq HFY oilifeld Cretaceous Mishrif logging data and core data,cast slice data,physical data,sedimentary facies,Cheng Yan,reservoir thickness,pore types and structure characteristics,with science,petroleum geology,sedimentary geology and reservoir the development of Geology and other related theories,using the techniques for reservoir evaluation and well logging analysis of modern reservoir description technology and method,the development status of HFY oilfield Cretaceous Mishrif group,to conduct a comprehensive study on the reservoir characteristics and control factors,to ensure the efficient development of oil field,the following results and understanding are obtained through study:Iraq hfy oilfield Cretaceous Mishrif group the main reservoir rocks grainstone,packstone and wackestone;reservoir matter of overall is good,and the segments of the group Mishrif MB2 and MC1 property is the best.Reservoir space is mainly pore and micro cracks,and the pores including intergranular hole,cavity hole,biological grid frame hole primary pore,moldic pores,dissolved pores,caves and intragranular dissolved pore,intercrystalline pores(micropores)secondary pores.According to the understanding of the macroscopic description of core and thin section analysis data,the system of the core facies and logging facies,using multiple crossplot method and multivariate discriminant analysis hierarchical method of lithology identification,recognition of rock template is compiled.Through the analysis of the controlling factors of reservoir development,it is considered that the sedimentary facies is the main controlling factor of reservoir development.Through the mercury parameters of statistical analysis on the physical parameters and compaction,the district Mishrif formation carbonate reservoir rock layer division for the class ? reservoir layer,class ? storage layer,type ? storage layer,class ? storage layer four type;in consideration of the sedimentary background were well control the parameters of the stochastic simulation modeling,using sequential indicator simulation method,reservoir modeling,by model checking the coincidence rate is high;and the combination of seismic data,the sedimentary facies distribution,structural characteristics and reservoir distribution,physical characteristics and oil-water distribution characteristics Mishrif group paragraphs reservoir favorable zone of is predicted.
