The development of science and technology has accelerated the development of lasers.Femtosecond laser with super high instantaneous power,less damage to biological tissue,and similar pulse time to biochemical reaction time,which has become the advanced equipment in the field of mutation breeding.At present,laser irradiation technology has made contribution to increase crop yield and optimize the quality of crops,and is a necessary technical means for agricultural development in China.Arabidopsis thaliana is widely used in biological research because of its small individual,short life cycle,easy to culture and few genome.In this paper,the wild Arabidopsis thaliana seeds of Colombia were irradiated by femtosecond laser with wavelength of 800nm and frequency 1KHz.After solid MS tissue culture,the statistics of the germination rate,root length,fresh weight,plant height,chlorophyll content,soluble sugar content,catalase activity and the content of malondialdehyde,by means of the experimental group and control group(without irradiation processing)data analysis.Then we study the influence of femtosecond laser on arabidopsis seed germination,seedling growth and physiological and biochemical aspects.The main results are as follows:(1)Femtosecond laser under suitable conditions could increase the germination of Arabidopsis thaliana seeds and promote the morphological development of seedlings.With the increase of irradiation dose,the promoting effect was weakened until the inhibition effect.(2)Under appropriate irradiation conditions,femtosecond laser could simultaneously increase chlorophyll content,soluble sugar content and catalase activity of Arabidopsis thaliana seedlings,decrease malondialdehyde content and promote photosynthesis of Arabidopsis thaliana seedlings.The stress resistance of Arabidopsis thaliana was enhanced.(3)The femtosecond laser of 175mwand 4-12s can improve the indexes of Arabidopsis thaliana,including seed germination,seedling growth and development,photosynthesis and stress resistance of Arabidopsis thaliana seedlings.
