Physical and mechanical parameters of rock and soil are very important for civil engineering design and construction,not only related to quality and safety of engineering construction,but also closely related to structural design selection,cost and engineering progress.These parameters are generally obtained from the geotechnical engineering investigation in the process of in situ test and indoor test,and changes of geotechnical parameters have uncertainty,randomness and fuzziness,because of the complexity of engineering geological conditions and spatial variability,with the disturbance during sampling,transporting and testing.This means that because of the great changes and differences in geological origin and geotechnical properties in different regions,it is very difficult to accurately determine their engineering characteristics.Therefore,it needs to be studied according to local conditions.Since the reformation and opening up,especially in the past twenty years,Nanchang has made great progress in the economic construction and various types of engineering construction have been rapidly developed.However,the correct and reasonable use and evaluation of geotechnical engineering parameters is still a problem,and the characteristics of geotechnical parameters are still unclear,which can not keep up with the needs of the development of the situation.Therefore,it is of great significance to further study the characteristics and correlation analysis.of rock and soil parameters.The tasks of probability theory and mathematical statistics are to reveal their statistical regularity through random events and to make statistical analysis of random statistical data,so as to infer the essence of objects studied.This paper collected and collated geotechnical survey data of more than 100 large projects in Nanchang.Through the method of mathematical statistics,the probability and statistics characteristics of the physical and mechanical indexes of cohesive soil,sandy soil and bedrock part were analyzed,and some of physical and mechanical indexes were researched with correlation analysis,and empirical formula between these parameters were established.The probability distribution law of silty clay physical mechanicsindex in different regions of Nanchang were discussed.By comparing with the experiences of other provinces and cities,the existence situations of local engineering are confirmed to provide the basis for the improvement of investigation and design works.In view of the lack of data with sand shear strength index,a simple device for measuring the fracture angle of rest has been designed and made,so as to analyze the change characteristics of sand shear strength index from another point of view.The method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation on the basis of fuzzy theory is adopted to study the method of rational analysis and determination of rock and soil parameters.These studies can provide useful reference to research and preparate the local standardization of geotechnical engineering investigation in Jiang xi.
