The Changbai Mountain area is widely covered by basalt.The geological information under the basalt cap-rock has always been our focus.The geophysical work that has been carried out in the region includes various geophysical methods such as gravity,magnetic,and electromagnetic methods,and the integrated geophysical inversion and interpretation of the collected geophysical data is more effective and accurate than the inversion of a single geophysical method.The cross-gradient joint inversion method is the most effective method in the integrated geophysical inversion method.Cross-gradient joint inversion can overcome the limitation of the single geophysical method inversion,reduce the inversion of multiple solutions,and obtain structural similar results.The inversion results provide convenience for the interpretation of different physical parameters and the interpretation of the results is more accurate.In this paper,the geological significance of gravity and magnetic anomalies in the basalt-covered area of Changbai Mountain are explained.Then,several typical geological sections in the basalt area were subjected to a combined gravity-magnetic-electric cross-gradient inversion.Combined with the regional geological conditions of each survey line,they were interpreted separately to reveal the basalt cap-rock geology information.Geothermal resources in the Changbai Mountain area are abundant.This paper conducted CSAMT exploration and AMT exploration on two known hot springs in the Xianren Bridge and the Linjiang third team area respectively.The geophysicalmethod was used to find the effectiveness of the hot springs and to study the known geothermal hot springs.Geological control factors.In addition,CSAMT have been conducted for the two Changbai Mountain geothermal target areas in Jingyu Renyi and Songjiang River.Through the inversion and interpretation of the CSAMT probe data,the thickness of the basalt,the resistivity structure and the formation under the basalt rock were explained.
