In the recent decades,GIS(Geographic Information System)technology has made tremendous progress,and has been applied widely and deeply.As an important data format in GIS data,the storage and management of map tile files have also received more and more attention.The early GIS was run on a stand-alone system.It mainly manages tile files in files.With the development of computer technology and the Internet,the management of tile files is gradually becoming networked and distributed.The tile map technology adopts the strategy of "reserving space for time" so as to provide a quick map service and give the user a better experience.This strategy has brought about problems such as wasted disk space,poor tile file security and sharing.Therefore,for the characteristics of large data files,small files and strict structure of tile files,combining the characteristics of Hadoop distributed framework,this paper studies and designs a Hadoop-based tile file management scheme.The management of tile files is studied from the organization and storage methods of tile files.After comparing and analyzing several current mainstream tile file management methods,work is carried out from the following aspects: Design and implement a compact method of tiles based on the above analysis of tile file,convert the original loose tile file into a compact tile file.Establish a two-level indexing mechanism of the tile file,and access the tile file for a third-party GIS platform or user Provides interfaces.Implements distributed management of tile files in Hadoop,addresses disk space waste and security and sharing issues in tile file storage.Establishes two-level tile file access mechanism,provides multiple concurrent accesses to tile files,to ensure stable data access under multiuser and concurrent conditions.This paper exploratively introduces Hadoop technology into GIS systems,improves the storage efficiency and transmission efficiency of electronic map tiles through Hadoop-based cloud technologies and architectures,designs and implements an innovative compact organization of tile files,and publishes electronic data on this basis.Map tiles provide basic cloud GIS services externally.The developed GIS cloud computing and cloud storage systems based on the Hadoop architecture have good practicality.
