It is acknowledged that glycyrrhizic acid and glycyrrhetinic acid can not play the best biological effects. In the early stage,The Penicillium purpurogenum Li-3 as object that can be directed to catalyze GL to generate GAMG.In this paper, the preparation conditions and catalytic properties of immobilized Penicillium purpurogenum Li-3 cells by magnetic loading ionic liquid calcium alginate gel beads and microencapsulated Penicillium purpurogenum Li-3 cells by magnetic loading ionic liquid multi-layer calcium alginate was studied, the main research work and experimental results as follows:(1)The Fe3O4/CS nano-particles and magnetic loaded[BMIM]PF6 gel beads were prepared. The characterization of the material showed that some of the bulge on the surface of the magnetic gel beads were increased after the addition of[BMIM]PF6.The crystal structure of the Fe3O4 nanoparticles didn't change after coating with chitosan, but the crystal structure of magnetic loading[BMIM]PF6 gel beads was decreased. The Fe3O4/CS and magnetic gel beads have good magnetic properties,it can be effectively separated under the action of applied magnetic field.(2)The immobilized Penicillium purpurogenum Li-3 cells by magnetic loading[BMIM]PF6 alginate gel beads was prepared. The optimal conditions were as follows:the concentration of sodium alginate was 2.0%,CaCl2 was 2.0%,[BMIM]PF6 was 9.0%,Fe3O4/CS was 4:300,and the amount of bacteria was 6.0%.The catalytic performance showed that the yield of GAMG in ionic liquid-containing cell system was higher than that of ionic liquid-free cell system, the relative activity of immobilized cells reached 59.2%after repeated use of 9 times.(3)We found that the immobilization of Penicillium purpurogenum Li-3 cells by magnetic loading[BMIM]PF6 gel beads presented a large loss rate of ionic liquid. On the basis of the optimal preparation conditions of(2),the microencapsulated Penicillium purpurogenum Li-3 cells by magnetic loading[BMIM]PF6 multi-layer calcium alginate was prepared. The optimal concentration of sodium alginate was 1.2%,the optimum coating layers was 2,and the loss rate of[BMIM]PF6 decreased after the coating was over. The catalytic properties of the coated 2-layer microencapsulated cells were investigated.Compared with the immobilized cell of gel beads system with non-coated,the results showed that the yield of GAMG was increased by 8.8%.The relative activity of magnetic loading[BMIM]PF6 double-layer calcium alginate microencapsulated cells reached 81.5%after repeated use of 9 times.
