Mineral Resources Development And Land Reclamation In Mining Area Research In Jiujiang County

Mineral resources are the food and blood of industry.It provides the impetus for socialist construction and economic development,which has driven the development of the region and accelerated the urbanization of China.But the rapid development of economy led to increasingly prominent contradictions of the development and utilization of mineral resources to the economic,environmental and social,also became the important resistance and influence factor to steaby Chinese social economic development and people’s living environment.How to use the limited natural resources to meet the needs of human sustainable development is the urgent problem,and sustainable development is the key to solve the problem.Jiujiang county is located in the north of jiangxi province.There are varieties of minerals which has abundant reserves and potential economic value.The famous Chengmen copper mine is also located in the city of Jiujiang county.In the past several decades,the development of mineral resources in Jiujiang county has provided important support for the economic development of jiangxi province and even the whole country.This study used the sustainable development theory,the resource curse theory,system theory,and combined with my work experience in mineral resources management for many years and a large number of mineral field survey and data collection in Jiujiang county.The mineral resources development and utilization status quo,problems were deeply analyzed and countermeasures for dealing with the problem were put forward in this study.The details are as follows:The development and utilization of mineral resources in Jiujiang county has rich resources and multiple enterprises.Exploitation of mineral resources has been one of pillar industries of Jiujiang county.There are group company-the Jiangtong industry,Jiujiang xin shan cement co.,LTD.,some little private enterprises such as the xintang township bricks and tiles plant and LingXing quarry stone field for the exploitation of mineral resources in Jiujiang county.As of 2016,36 companies in the whole county have engaged in mineral resources exploitation.Themetallic ore in our county was sold to the domestic and foreign markets.The main sales of limestone mines are as follow:one is to meet the local demand,Second,through the company of mixing stations and other enterprises indirectly supply Jiujiang city,Third,with the gold waterway tranportation of the Yangtze river,transport to the lower reaches of the Yangtze river.This study found that Jiujiang county have the advantage of satisfying all mineral resources development from mining,production to sales.The major problems mineral resources development and land reclamation in mining area research in Jiujiang county focus on small companies,bad environmental impact,and difficult restore governance.For now,in Jiujiang county primary small companies engaged in the development and utilization of mineral resources.These small companies have less money,backward technology and management culture,although made some contribution to the development of local economies,but they are hard to adapt to the request of the new era,also have bad impact on the environment.This is because some owners of small companies one-sided pursuit of profitare,carried out mining production in the bold exploration ways,which cause serious destruction of ecological environment in mining area and surrounding areas.Increased geological hazards.A mountain multiple mining area,increase the difficulty of land reclamation.This study found that mineral resources development and utilization problems in Jiujiang county hindered the development of economy,and destroyed the surrounding ecological environment.The root causes of the problems in the mineral resources development and land reclamation in mining area research in Jiujiang county exist in the low entry threshold,the lack of reasonable strategies of mineral resources and the backward mining technology.Jiujiang county government and the related department of mineral resources have not set an effective threshold to prevent some speculative enterprises which only have poor technology,At the same time,there is no effective supervision on the mine production,and no scientific and unified planning for land reclamation in the mining area.Due to limited fund and backward technology,some mining enterprises have difficult in transformation upgrading.Because of management technology and the multiple number of mines,it is very hard to supervise and manage every step of mineral mining and production.At the same time,there is no effective supervision on the mine production,and no scientific and unified planning for land reclamation in the mining area.In this study,the countermeasures for Rational exploitation mineral resources development and land reclamation in mining area research in Jiujiang county are to raise the entry threshold of mines,scientific planning,establish new mines restoration and control mechanism,and strengthen supervision.In order to change the existing mineral environment and small mining size,we must further improve the mineral resources development and utilization,and use a sustainable development view to the development of mineral resources stratege.To formulate the sustainable use plan of mineral resources science.Land reclamation shall be carried out in accordance with the local conditions,and the mining areas within the area shall be re-established to establish a special fund for land reclamation.The establishment of a new system to ensure the land reclamation and rehabilitation in Jiujiang county can be effectively carried out.Finally,the department of mineral resources has to change the previous way to administrative regulation and scientific supervision,introduce the advanced technology on supervision and monitoring of the mining resources,production and environmental all the time.According to this study,it’s found that we couldn’t make economy an excuse to sacrificing ecological environment,and we have to follow a sustainable way,taking environment protection and economy development together.All in all,one sentence to describle the key to sustainable development of mineral resources is "Green mountains often keep the gold and silver,before the gold and silver mountains there is always green environment".
