Magneto-rheological elastomer is one of the most classic smart materials.It takes both advantages of magnetic materials and elastomers,which makes it widely used in motorcycle vibration reduction,vibration absorption,active noise reduction and so on.Magneto-rheological elastomers are mainly composed of matrix and magnetic particles.In order to study deeper into the true mechanical properties of magneto-rheological elastomers,the magneto-rheological rubber is selected as a research object.And the following has been studied in this paper.Firstly,the magneto-induced mechanical properties of magneto-rheological rubber are simulated under conditions of different magnetic field and force field.The research in this part shows both influence of the volume fraction of particles and magnetic field strength on the magneto-mechanical properties of magneto-rheological rubber,especially on the impact of the magneto-induced modulus.Secondly,the complex networks theory is introduced to study the complex network model of magnetic particles in this paper,including the calculation of the average degree,clustering coefficients and average shortest path of complex network of magnetic particles.And the relevance between the complex network parameters of the magnetic particles and volume fraction of the magnetic particles is studied.Thirdly,the association between topological characteristic parameters of the complex network and magneto-induced mechanical parameters of the magneto-rheological rubber is studied.And the relationship among the average degree,the clustering coefficient,the shortest path length and the magneto-induced modulus are quantitatively analyzed.Therefore,a preliminary understanding of magnetic particles network of the magneto-rheological rubber has been obtained.Finally,the topological structure of the magnetic particles network is studied in detail to find the fractal characteristics of the magnetic particles network.And the association of fractal dimensions and magneto-induced mechanical parameters of magneto-rheological rubber has also been studied.
