The study area is located in the northwest side of the western margin of the Yangtze Platform and the south of Indosinian Yidun-Zhongdian island arc belt and the south of Yidun arc basin zone.The outcropping strata of this area mainly upper Triassic system thum groove group and quga temple group,the overall direction of tectonic line is NNW,mineralization and hydrothermal alteration are very strong,and have a very wide distribution,the mine has huge potential for prospecting.Shangri la has found a large number of porphyry copper deposits,according to the geographical location of the distribution of the Rock mass are divided into two zones,the eastern and Western porphyry belt.the representatives of porphyry deposits in the East are Pulang deposits and langdu deposits,the West are Lannitang,Xuejiping and Chundu deposit.This paper mainly researched the Western porphyry belt porphyry deposit.Through the field geological investigation and sampling analysis of Chundu-Lannitang Porphyry copper deposit,through detailed field geological investigation and Sample data analysis and combined with the previous research data,the author made the following understanding:(1)Newly acquired 11 hypabyssal rock of Chundu-Lannitang mine area zircon U-Pb isotopic age is 205 Ma ~ 225 Ma,as Indosinian magmatism.(2)The mineralization types of the study area include:(1)copper,single element mineralization can also be accompanyed Ag or Au;(2)Copper lead-zinc polymetallic deposits,often associated with Ag and Au,Often along veins;(3)lead zinc mine,often associated with Ag,Au and Cu.Ag,Au and Cu may reach production-grade,such as enka deposit.(3)The mineralization of Lannitang and Chundu porphyry copper deposit are Superimposed on(quartz)diorite Bin rock mass with the way Quartz-metal sulfide(disseminated pyrite and chalcopyrite)thin vein,fine net vein,lens,etc,Also find carbonate-metal sulfide mineralized form.Therefore,silicification,sericitization and carbonation are favorable for mineralization alteration.(4)The ore-hosting rock of Lannitang deposit is sericitization(quartz)dioritic porphyrite,the ore-hosting rock of Xuejiping deposit is quartz monzonite porphyry,the ore-hosting rock of Chundu deposit is silicified(quartz)dioritic porphyrite.The residual magma Rich with fluid composition and metal elements penetrate along the weak structure form the porphyry copper mineralization.The Chundu porphyry copper deposit has obvious characteristics of wall rock alteration,which belongs to Monzonite zoning pattern.(5)The ore body of porphyry copper deposit in the study area concentrated distribute by vein or lenticular on the space,having the characteristics of pinchout side appear,pinchout reappear and Multicenter mineralization the deposits with features of tectonic control and superimposed mineralization of the ore-forming fluid.(6)The porphyry copper deposit in Lannitang have the unusual structure characteristics of Hydrothermal type primary halos in the mineralized site,the ore-forming elements and the associated elements Cu,Mo appear positive anomaly,the iron group elements appear negative anomaly.(7)The deposits in Chundu-Lannitang are nearly north-south strip distribution,the Lannitang deposits and Chundu deposit are located in west,the orebody tend to north east;and the orebody of Hongshan deposit and Enka deposit whith are located in east tend to south west,It Suggest the spatial pattern that the ore-forming fluid migration direction controlled by the tectonic.(8)The Prospecting advantageous position of Porphyry copper deposit are Lead and zinc sulfide vein,Rock primary halo and Intersection site of concealed fault.(9)Author have Predicted three new prospecting target areas of Porphyry copper deposit by geology and geochemistry indicator for deposit and Structure ore controlling rule:(1)Chundu prospecting target area(2)Reshuitang prospecting target area(3)Peizhong prospecting target area.
