Cold Nuclear Matter Effects Of Dijet

In this paper,we mainly focus on the cold nuclear matter(CNM)effects on dijet production in high energy collisions.Firstly,we calculate the transverse momentum spectra(PT spectra)of single inclusive jet,and the scattering cross section of invariant mass spectra(MJJ spectra)and angular distribution(X)of dijet at next-to-leading order using perturbation QCD for the p+p collision.Our theoretical data is consistent with the experimental data in the range of allowable error.Secondly,in p+Pb collision,based on nCTEQ 15,EPPS 16,nIMParton 16 and HKN07 which are different parameterized sets of the nuclear parton distribution functions(nPDFs),we studied the CNM effects on pT spectra of single inclusive jet,MJJ spectra and angular distribution of dijet.From numerical calculation,we obtain the following conclusions:(1)The CNM effects have significant influence on the transverse momentum spectra of single inclusive jet and the invariant mass spectra of dijet and little influence on the angular distribution of dijet.(2)In terms of the pT spectra of the final single inclusive jet,the results obtained by using EPPS 16 and nCTEQ 15 are similar.Results from nIMParton show a negligible effect from anti-shadowing while anti-shadowing effect from HKN is more pronounceable in the pT distribution.(3)The nuclear modification factor(R ppb dijet)of M(JJ)spectra for dijet is larger than that of PT spectra for single jet at the region of anti-shadowing effect.The value of transition point of M(JJ)spectra for dijet from the anti-shadowing effect to the EMC effect is about two times of pT spectra for the single inclusive jet.(4)With respect to the X spectra of dijet,nCTEQ 15,EPPS 16,nIMParton 16 and HKN07 sets are used,and the nuclear modification factor(R ppb dijet)of dijet is almost equal to 1.Finally,we studied the triply differential scattering cross section do/dXAXBdη*of dijet after considering the cold nuclear matter effects.In XA =0.1,η*=0,R = 0.4 and XB=0.01~0.95,using of nCTEQ15,nDS,EPPS16,nIMParton16 as well as HKN07,we studied the evolution of do/dXAXBdη*and nuclear modification factor of dijet at different XB.We find that in the range of XB≤ 0.18,the nuclear modification of gluon distribution function is similar to R ppb dijet anD R f ppd(X,Q).These results provide some references for the study of cold nuclear matter effects.
