Coordination of cell division timing is crucial for proper cell fate specification and tis-sue growth.In this paper,we studied the cell cycle length of parental cells and asynchrony of divisions between sister cells(ADS)from Caenorhabditis elegans,screening genes that control asynchrony of divisions between sister cells.Caenorhabditis elegans is an excellent model to study the asynchrony of divisions between sister cells mainly because it is easy to observe the entire development process of Caenorhabditis elegans from a one-celled fer-tilized egg to an adult worm,and every cell in the development process can be recorded its cell cycle length.Wing et al.'s research only analyzed the asynchrony of divisions between sister cells of Caenorhabditis elegans and diagnosed the abnormal ADS of Caenorhabditis elegans.We find that there is a certain correlation between the cell cycle length of parental cells and asynchrony of divisions between sister cells,by analyzing the Spearman rank corre-lation test and Pearson correlation test between the cell cycle length of parental cells and asynchrony of divisions between sister cells from the wild type Caenorhabditis elegans.In order to make full use of the information of cell division time data,emphasizing the corre-lation between the cell cycle length of parental cells and asynchrony of divisions between sister cells,first,the division data of wild-type Caenorhabditis elegans were classified,and the cell cycle length of parental cells and its corresponding the asynchrony of divisions between sister cells are consist of the data sets.Then,we use the Bayesian semireference quantile regression model based on kernel function to estimate its 0.975 quantile line and 0.025 quintile.The 0.975 quantile line and the 0.025 quantile line form a confidence in-terval to diagnose abnormal Caenorhabditis elegans individuals.Six types of simulations of the Bayesian semipaametric quantile regression model based on kernel function were performed,and the rationality of the method was preliminarily proved.Compared with the method of Wing et al.,the method can diagnose more abnormal ADS.It provides new methods for screening genes that control asynchrony of divisions between sister cells.
