The Huaiyu and northern Wuyi mountainsare situated in the northern part of the Cathaysian Block(South China),eastern part of the Eurasian Plate.It is situated in the overlappingdomain between the NE-trending Qin-Hang belt and NNE-trending Wuyi belt.Itis an important fluorite mineralization area in Jiangxi Province and even in southeastern China.However,the researcheson metallogenic conditions and regularity remain relaltively poorand affect a better exploration ofthe mineral resoucesin this area.Based on the theory of modern mineralization and netallogenic rules,this paper presents first hand data from detailed field investigations and analyzes the available data of Fluorite ore metallogenic province in the Huaiyu Mountain and northern Wuyi Mountain areas,and further summarizes the metallogenic regularity of of fluorite deposits.The results provide a scientific basis for the deployment of prospecting work in this area.The formation of fluorite ore deposits of this area affected by the tectonic movement during late Yanshan period to Himalayan extension period.The deposits are obviously controlled by the fault structure of the Mesozoic volcanic basins and the granite uplift zones.The complex granite is an important basis for fluorite mineralization during the Yanshan period.The post-magmatic hydrothermal offered energy and materials in the mineralizing process.The REE(rare earth elements)distribution patterns of thefluorites are similar tothose of theMesozoicigneous zone and the Yanshaniangranite zone in the SE China.According to the diagram of La/Ho-Y/Ho,it is indicated that the ore-forming fluids of fluorites are homologous.Element Ca in this fluorite mine may have been mainly extracted from the post-magmatic hydrothermal solution by leaching metamorphic rocks.Different from the post-magmatic hydrothermal solution,one of the major sources of elements F is that the biotite of metamorphic rocks are rich in element F.The fluorite deposits genesis is the post-magmatic hydrothermal with fracture zone filling metasomatic vein fluorite deposits in the research area.The fluorite mines in this area are divided into Ling Mountain-Danmao Mountain fluorite mineralization area and Tianzhu moutain-Cymbals mountain fluorite mineralization area which are full of potential.In addition,we are further divided into four fluorite collection areas which are Lisongyang-Chengwang and Mopanshan-Geyuan in Huaiyu mountain area,Taiyuan-Huangbi and Geshanwu-Caokeng in the northern part of Wuyi Mountain area.To summarize some of the prospecting signs in this region for looking for the same type of fluorite ore.
