In recent years,many related science and technology have been put into the field of meteorological research to help meteorological personnel to make accurate and timely analysis and judgment on strong convective weather,and reduce the economic losses caused by meteorological disasters.With the rapid development of computer technology and network technology,Web applications are gradually expanding from two-dimensional to three-dimensional.How to efficiently carry out 3D visualization data in Web becomes an important direction of 3D visualization research.At present,the data visualization based on Web radar is mainly aimed at two-dimensional grid image and point,line and plane vector symbols,lack of geometric location information and topological information of three-dimensional space,and can not obtain the distribution characteristics of meteorological elements in the high direction.Combining the Web 3D with the 3D visualization of radar data,making full use of the advantages of Web access,thin client and cross platform,the real-time sharing and cooperative analysis of meteorological data can be realized,and the three-dimensional structure of the weather radar echo can be displayed quickly and conveniently,and the weather condition can be displayed intuitively.The process and trend of development will enhance people's cognition of three-dimensional space,and help to get further analyze of the weather process.At present,radar data 3D visualization are mostly vector data.Vector data can express the geographical location of objects more accurate.Therefore,this paper is dedicated to the research of Web oriented 3D radar vector visualization.The main results of this paper are as follows:(1)The base data of the weather radar are preprocessed to analyze the base data files and convert the point data from the meteorological radar spherical coordinate system into the 3D grid data in the Cartesian coordinate system,and the correlation algorithm completes the extraction of the three-dimensional contour vector data and the three-dimensional vertical section data,and the better results are obtained.(2)Based on the design of Web network data format,the extracted ISO surface data and profile data are formatted,and the format of data transmission is set,so that it is suitable for transmission under the network environment.(3)The server side creates the REST radar resource interface and provides the corresponding visualization algorithm resources.The client uses the Cesium framework to render the extracted results in three dimensional rendering to verify the effectiveness of the results,and to realize the color filling and transparency of the 3D radar data.This paper uses several sample data to test the three dimensional algorithm of Web based weather radar.The results of reconstruction are consistent with the actual situation.The surface of the vector structure is smooth and good space continuity.The quantity of data is reduced and the network transmission efficiency is high.It can directly obtain the feature information of the echo whole structure and predict the weather.Provide an important basis.
