This thesis studied the one dimensional and two dimensional anisotropic forward modelling of magnetetolluric. We aimed at solving the 1-D and 2-D anisotropic forward modelling of magnetetolluric and use 2-D anisotropic forward modelling to detect the fracture of shale gas.As for 1-D anisotropic magnetetolluric forward modelling, based on the previous research,we performed the research of multiple different models and analyzed the modelling results. For the electromagnetic fields of general media,we often use numerical method to deal with the 2-D magnetetolluric anisotropic forwarding.Considering the high accuracy and flexible of finite element method,we used the finite element method to do the 2-D magnetetolluric anisotropic forward modelling. In the process of doing 2-D magnetetolluric anisotropic forward modelling,we also adopted OpenMP to speed up our forward program and used the sparse storage strategy to store the matrix.By doing this,we effectively reduced the running time and storage of the forward program. We also studied the result of 2-D magnetetolluric anisotropic forward modelling. At the end,we provided the conclusion of this thesis and discussed the research field of the future.
