In this thesis,we aim at a class of reset control systems whose reset period is un-certain,investigating optimal reset law design of this kind of system.Firstly,we apply a method that translating the equilibrium point of the systems and the features of exponen-tial function to convert the optimal control problem for closed-loop reset control systems into an optimal robust control problem for linear discrete-time systems.The special sys-tems have two features:one is that it has time-varying and uncertain parameter whose norm is bounded;the other is that the control input of the systems is constrained.Then,we use the conditional extremum method,introducing Lagrange multiplier and penalty parameter to analyse and improve this optimal control problem for the linear discrete system,and we apply dynamic programming to get the optimal solution which can be ex-pressed by the matrix.Later,we obtain the optimal reset law by applying this basic form of optimal solution.Finally,we use a numerical example to demonstrate the effectiveness of this method.The reset control systems that have been studied in the past always have fixed reset period.This paper deals with the system whose reset period is uncertain,and the process of studying optimal problem is simple.Therefore,The scope of application of this method is wider.
