As thegrowing demand of thegreen meat products,the feed with forage microbes became the main way that could improve the quality of meat.In this experiment,we used washed and treated by alkali com straw as carbon source,lactic acid was produced by a strain of Pediococcus acidilactici?named as S204?using SSF?simultaneoussaccharification and fermentation?,and researched its antibacterial properties.Here come the results of our study:1,Indicator bacteria coating and oxford cup method were used to show the circle of inhibition zone,and drew the Bacteriostasis Atlas of 11 kinds of common pathogens bacteria.We found the S2O4 have significant bacteriostatic effect on some enteric pathogenic bacteria like Listeria monocytogenes,Escherichia coli,etc.2,With our study on the inhibition activity of S2O4,it was found that the Pediocin of S2O4 would adsorb on cells under alkaline condition,released and showed the activity of antibacterial when the media was acidic.The inhibition activity was best at pH 3.0,and was tolerant to temperature,besides the higher nitrogen source was helpful to the bacteriostatic effect.3,The growth curve of S2O4 was plotted.We found that S2O4 could produce lactic acid and acetic acid using xylose by homolactic fermentation when theglucose was starved through the pure sugar experiments.Through the experiment that S204 produced lactic acid by SSF of corn straw in flasks and tanks,we found that the highest lactic titer was 108.28 g/L at 72h,the viable bacteria number was more than 10 billion CFU/mL?CFU:colony for ming unit?3 and productivity of washed straw treated by alkali was 0.753 g/g,the average rate was 1.5 g/L/h at the condition of 37?,and pH 6.0 where the dry corn powder was used as the only nitrogen source and was 20 g/L.Meanwhile,the acetic titer was 12.08 g/L,and productivity of washed straw treated by alkali was 0.052 g/g.
