The output regulation problem is an important research topic in the control theory.Because of its powerful application background, the output regulation problem of switched delay systems has been studied extensively. At present, most of the research results of the output regulation of switched delay systems focus on the common coordinate transformation and synchronous switching, and the switching rules are usually designed by the ADT method.Based on the MDADT method, the authors design the switching rules, and the different coordinate transformation is used to discuss the output regulation problem of a class of switched delay systems via error information. The results are in better control performance of the controller and break the limit that the regulator system must have a common solution.Secondly, when the switching rule of the controller and the switching rules the subsystems are inconsistent, the synchronous output regulation of switched systems with time-varying delay is discussed by designing the error feedback controller. The mode-dependent average dwell time(MDADT)method with time-delay is given to design the switching rules. The MDADT method used in this paper has better control performance than the traditional average dwell time(ADT)method. The Jensen integral inequality and the Finsler lemma are used to deal with the delay terms to reduce the computational complexity. At the same time, the external system is a switched system, and the constructed different coordinated transformation don't make the system's regulator equations have a common solution necessarily. The controller is designed only using error information, which increase the flexibility of the controller design. The sufficient conditions for the solvability of the synchronous output regulation of a class of switched delay system are given. Finally,an example is introduced to illustrate the validity of the results.Thirdly, from the perspective of the asynchronous switching between the controller and subsystem, using the merging switching signal technique,a switching rule that satisfies the MDADT is designed for the controller with time-delay.The Jensen integral inequality and the Finsler lemma are used to deal with the time-delay terms. And constructing a different coordinate transformation to ensure that the regulator equations do not have a common solution necessarily. The controller is designed with error information and the sufficient condition for the solvability of the asynchronous output regulation problem of the switcheddelay system is given. The MDADT method used in this paper has better control performance than the traditional ADT method. Finally, the authors summarize the article.
