With the rapid development of the road traffic in China,the road mileage is increasing year by year,which follows the maintenance and management of the highway.Highway side slope inspection is a basic and important work for highway slope in maintenance and management stage.Regular daily inspection is conducive to real-time control of highway slope stability and safety and is essential for early warning and treatment of slope diseases.At present,the highway side slope inspection adopts artificial inspection.Generally,it adopts visual,percussion and touch.The terrain condition of highway slope is complex and changeable.The inspectors are very dangerous when they inspect the slopes of high slopes and mountain roads artificially,which results in the fact that the inspection results can not completely reflect the real situation of the slope.Due to the limitation of the highway side slope inspection work,some small diseases eventually developed into serious geological disasters such as landslides and landslides,which seriously affected the road traffic safety and had a negative impact on the society.As a fast,convenient and safe image acquisition technology,the low altitude Photogrammetry of UAV has been studied in the fields of geological disasters.The purpose of this paper is to study the technical method of replacing or assisting the artificial highway inspection by the UAV highway slope inspection,so as to ensure the safety of the inspectors.According to the relevant requirements of highway side slope inspection,from the actual inspection work,we find out two kinds of technical methods based on UAV low altitude Photogrammetry for overall inspection and fine inspection of highway slopes.Then developed a highway slope inspection management system for the storage and management of inspection results.The system realized not only the input and query function of highway slope information,but also the function of results check,safety judgement,automatically report generate and disaster warning.So that inspectors can obtain the real time safety information of the slope to provide decision-making basis for the slope management.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)A low altitude photogrammetry scheme for UAV on the highway side slope is studied,and two UAV slope inspection methods are explored.(2)The processing of the unmanned aerial vehicle slope inspection image,including the distortion correction,the space three encryption,the generation of the Orthophoto Image and the formation of the three-dimensional terrain.(3)Evaluation of the results of the overall inspection and fine inspection of the slope is to determine the safety of the highway slope.(4)To check the results of the unmanned aerial vehicle slope inspection by using the artificial slope inspection method to verify its accuracy.(5)Design of highway slope inspection management system.(6)Design the database.The application of low altitude Photogrammetry in highway slope inspection has been verified through practical inspection work,and has great application prospects.The results of this paper are intended to provide some reference for current highway slope inspection.
