China is a country with frequent geological disasters.The products of various geological disasters are also emerging one after another.The deposit are one of them.Due to the unique production method of the deposit slope,its structure is loose and is prone to damage.In recent years,there have been a few engineering examples where the deposit slope has been destroyed again.The problem of protecting deposits slope has become a new engineering problem and has received more and more attention from scholars.The safety problem of deposit slope is actually the stability problem of deposit slope.For the stability of the deposit slope,most scholars start with their shear strength research.In the actual project,most of the protection of the deposit slope is also reinforced with traditional protective measures.The concept of ecological slope protection is no longer unfamiliar to us.Now it has been widely applied to the protection of slopes.In this paper,the arbor root system and the deposit slope as the research object,the influence of the root system on the stability of the deposit slope is studied,the tensile test of the arbor root system is designed,and the slope model of the deposit is constructed,based on the strength reduction factor method.The finite element analysis software Plaxis2 D calculates the model.This article has the following results:(1)The main factors influencing the stability of the deposit slope are comprehensively analyzed,and the instability mechanism of the deposit slope and the circular are landslide on the slope of the deposit body is revealed.The whole process of landslide instability in the deposit slope is divided into six stages,and the performance,characteristics and protective measures of each stage are analyzed.(2)The study on the growth law of root system in soil,including the distribution pattern of root system and the content of root system in soil,reveals the mechanism of root-soil adhesive bonds,and proposes the formula of strength change after the root system is cut.(3)The tensile properties of the root system were studied by the tensile test in the root system.The linear distribution of the tensile strength and the diameter of the root system was obtained by linear fitting,and the linear distribution of the tensile strength and the diameter of the root system was concluded.(4)Starting from the single root shearing and stretching in soil,the interaction properties of roots and soils were studied.Combined with the model of arbor's root-solidifying soil mechanics,the stability of deposit slope under the action of roots was analyzed,and the mechanism of the roots' solid slope was obtained.From the engineering point of view,the mechanism of the roots-enhanced slope and the influence of the root system on the seepage of the deposit slope were studied,which provided theoretical support for the root slope protection project.(5)The soil in the distribution range of shallow fine roots is considered to be a continuous root-soil complex whose strength and stiffness parameters are equivalent root-soil complex parameters;the deep-rooted system is considered as a bolt with certain rigidity and strength.A numerical analysis model was established and Plaxis2 D software was used to calculate the slope stability of the deposits.The optimal root fixation,strengthening position,and the mechanism of the deposit slope stability are obtained,which has guiding significance for engineering practice.
