In recent years,the fractional-order neural networks because of its good properties,has become an important subject in the research of nonlinear field.Compared with integer-order neural networks,the fractional-order neural networks provided an important tool for describing the overall function,and enhanced its capacity.However,in actual engineer-ing field,the parameter of the neural networks is unknown,so,it’s very important for parameter estimation.In this paper,we proposed finite-time robust control of uncertain fractional-order neural networks via sliding mode control,besides,we made some param-eter estimations for the unknown parameter.Meanwhile,for the fractional-order nonlinear systems with uncertainties,we also made some estimations for boundary of the model un-certainties and external disturbances.The main work is as follows:1.For the fractional-order neural networks with certain parameters,its finite-time control is investigated.By applying the fractional-order stability theories and sliding mod-e control theory,the finite-time control conditions of the fractional-order neural networks are obtained.Meanwhile,for the fractional-order neural networks with uncertain param-eters,by applying the fractional-order stability theories and sliding mode control theory,the finite-time control conditions of the fractional-order neural networks are also obtained,some estimations are made for the uncertain parameters.2.For the fractional-order nonlinear systems with model uncertainties and external disturbances,its finite-time control is investigated.The performance of the control system is significantly impacted by the model uncertainties and external disturbances,which can cause a gap between the theory and the practice,so it is essential to investigate the finite-time control of the system.Sliding mode control(SMC)is a robust variable structure control method,which has many advantages,such as fast response,low sensitivity to external noises,easy realization,and parameters unknown.So for the fractional-order nonlinear systems with model uncertainties and external disturbances,we can obtain the robust finite-time control using SMC,and the boundary of the model uncertainties and external disturbances is estimated.
